Designer Riddhi Vimal Mehta asked Anisha who has done film Baat Ban Gayi to be as her showstopper and she agreed to do so for the INIFD fashion awards at Bandra West.Apart from Anisa there were Neetu Chandra,Pooja Bedi and Jassi Kaur as showstopper for other designer and there were no well known models on the show.According to Riddhi%3AI love flowers and nature so i decided on making a collection based on florals. Eventually after doing research i decided to take the American artist Georgia O'keeffe's paintings as my inspiration. This collection is inspired by her works. My collection is called- Floral Cores. The silhouettes are slim and clean cut at the top and voluminous yet soft at the bottom in crepes, silks and lace net. Layers, rouching and asymmetry try to interpret the many folds and details that lie within flowers that we do not normally see. Enlarge floral prints, warm pinks, cool blues, create looks that are graceful feminine and traditional. I had many choices but i decided to choose Anisa as my showstopper because she stood out from the rest. In person when i met her, i realized that we think alike and she shared the love for nature as much as me. 'Tassel' is a graduating show held up by INIFD institute for degree students every year. It promotes young designers and helps them achieve a name in the industry.
